    Soft, fine sand on the private beach, which stretches for about 1 kilometre and can be reached from several equipped and paved spots with interchange zones.

    For some years now, Union Lido, partner of the Italian Village for All network of accessible campsites and tourist villages, has been developing a series of actions to guarantee accessibility in a constant and concrete way, ensuring maximum usability of accommodation and sports facilities.

    Union Lido Mare and inclusiveness

    In 2024, Union Lido Mare, in collaboration with Village for all V4A - a leading tourism innovation company specialising in accessible hospitality - is proud to have launched a pilot project to improve the accessibility of our campsite by equipping a bungalow with specific facilities for visually impaired and blind people.

    We have introduced QR code and NFC enabled visual tactile maps that provide a detailed description of all available services, ensuring an inclusive and barrier-free experience.

    Our staff also attended a training course with La Girobussola, the official partner of Village for all V4A for this project, to acquire the professional skills needed to welcome and assist our guests.

    This project is just the first step towards a greater commitment: to make Union Lido Mare an increasingly inclusive campsite where everyone can enjoy an unforgettable holiday.

    For us, accessibility is not just a service, but a promise of accessible, barrier-free hospitality.
