Your Visit to Venice in 2025: Discover All the Updates!

To protect and preserve the historic center, the Municipality of Venice has introduced the Venice Access Contribution, an entry fee that came into effect in 2024.

Application Dates in 2025:

The contribution will be required from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM on the following days:

• April: 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30
• May: 1, 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 23, 24, 25, 30, 31
• June: 1, 2, 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, 15, 20, 21, 22, 27, 28, 29
• July: 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 27

Ticket Price:

• €5 per person if booked at least four days before the visit.
• €10 per person if booked three days before or later.
• Exemptions: Children under 14 years old are exempt from paying the contribution.

How to Purchase the Ticket:

The entry ticket must be purchased online through the official portal or via WhatsApp using the dedicated QR code:

At the time of purchase, a personalized QR code will be issued, which must be shown during checks in the city. Travelers without a valid ticket risk a fine ranging from €50 to €300.
