The project called ‘CAVALLINO-TREPORTI:LA VACANZA OPEN-AIR VERSO LA SOSTENIBILITA'’ is aimed at enhancing the tourist destination of Cavallino-Treporti. It is promoted by the tourism promotion consortium ‘Parco Turistico di Cavallino-Treporti’, which is the lead partner, with 25 enterprises participating in the aggregation. The tourist products promoted are related to open-air tourism, with a slow&green declination, linked to the lagoon ecosystem, cycle tourism, culture and food and wine. The markets are Italian (Veneto, Lombardy, FVG, TAA, Piedmont and Rome) and foreign, with Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Holland and Scandinavian countries. Specific promotional-marketing, reputation and notoriety actions are envisaged, both with traditional tools, such as the spot on RAI, the foreign specialised press and the new catalogue, and with online tools, through the website, social networks and the use of innovative platforms. The main objectives are to enhance the tourist destination as a sustainable and accessible destination; consolidate specific markets and acquire new ones; create a strong and unified tourism governance consistent with the ‘Veneto The Land of Venice’ brand.
